How    Why me?    FAQ   Costs

We love London. We want to share what we've discovered about this wonderful place with you, as a service to Londoners and visitors alike. The charges are as low as we can make them because we want you to enjoy as many Chapters as you can.

* This is not, repeat not, a subscription service.
* You pay once for each Chapter and that's it.
* You just pay your usual browsing charge to your service provider whenever you visit our wap site, as you would with any other wap site.

Do Me ... London is designed to be inexpensive and the only income we receive is when you listen to a Chapter. The cost is clearly quoted on the confirmation page, so that you know exactly what you will pay before you are charged. The price shown includes VAT at 17.5%. The text and the callback are both included. Each chapter costs £1.00 or £1.50 depending principally on how long it lasts. There are no other charges, other than the network charges mentioned below.

For browsing the site, looking at the map, watching the slideshows and so on, Do Me... London receives nothing. Not a penny. We give all of that to you free. However, charges may be levied by your network operator. If you have a contract, you probably have a monthly download allowance: if you haven’t used it up yet - and many people don’t - then browsing the Do Me ... London wap site is effectively free. If you have reached your download limit, then you will be charged by your network operator. This varies widely from contract to contract but is typically a few pence per page. If you have a Pay-As-You-Go phone, consult your network operator for the scale of charges. In most cases you pay for the amount you download, not the time you are connected: in other words it’s how many pages you look at, not how long you spend looking at them. Our pages are mostly between 12k and 30k, which is pretty small and means that they load quickly.

The original text you sent (London to 83040) cost your usual text rate. Do Me... London receives nothing from this. The reply text that you received is paid for by us, so it's free to you.
